Product Details
+This pilot's waistcoat used by the British Royal Air Force has gone on to serve as inspiration for many contemporary designer fashion garments. Its cropped body proportions, visually dense array of 3D pockets, and latticed webbing-as-structural-reinforcement have been reimagined by the likes of Dries Van Noten, Boris Bidjan Saberi, and many others. Its silhouette is surprisingly modern with a two-piece curved sleeve that fits sleek and close to the body. The dropped neckline accommodates a detachable shawl collar that houses an inflatable life preserver (not shown). The front closure is layered and is closed with two parallel, alternating direction Riri zippers. Finished with leather-trim and riri-zipper closure at 3D pockets, belt-style adjust at the waist, and velcro cuff fastening.
