This is a lovely vintage early 1950s wedding dress. White taffeta strapless and boned bodice with lace overlay. Long pointed sleeves with snaps at the cuffs. Pointed princess waist above a full skirt of layered tiers of white lace with tiny iridescent sequins throughout. Double layer under skirt of tulle/crinoline and white taffeta. Lace tiers are slightly longer in back to form a short train. Back metal zipper.

It is in almost perfect condition. The only issue to be found is a little seam stress at the hip, which is very easily fixed by a tailor, shown in last photo. This dress is so bright and clean, it looks as if it has never been worn.

Made by Jild's of Salina Kansas.

Dress is shown on a US size 6 dress form and still had quite a bit of room left in the cups and waist. For reference the dress form measurements are B 34" / W 25" / H 35.5".

Garment measurements below were taken flat and doubled where necessary.

Bust - 36 inches (91.44 cm) - possibly a little more due to darts and boning.
Waist - 28 inches (71.12 cm)
Hip - Full
Length from shoulder to waist in front - 16 inches (40.64 cm)
Length from waist to hem in front - 48 inches (121.92 cm)
Length from waist to hem in back - 56 inches (142.24 cm)
Sleeve length to longest point of cuff - 24 inches (60.96 cm)
Shoulders across back, seam to seam - 16 inches (40.64 cm)

Professional dry clean only.
